Do you find staying in shape hard work?

Are you wasting your time with exercise? It is possible your aren’t exercising or eating in a way that maximizes your potential. Sometimes you get the exercise right and the hard work is undone by poor diet, or visa-versa. Even if you getting it right you may not know unless you are measuring how effective that training is (which is something the Fitness Mentor tools are really good at doing!).
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and good, or a great body can also be hard work until it becomes a regular pattern, which is where the motivators at Fitness Mentor add a lot of value to get you up and out of the house.
When it comes to running I know lots of runners that “just go out and run”, without any real thought to how effective their training really is. Actually, I used to be one of those runners!
I used to just ‘hit the road’ every week and didn’t really consider the benefits of professional coaching or advice. I thought my fitness level was okay and enjoyed the exercise. But if you want to take your game to the next level, that advice can really help.
Personally, the right mix of strength, endurance and speed training made a big difference and I improved my best half-marathon time from a struggling 1:37 to a comfortable 1:23! Working smarter not harder is a cliché I know, but it worked for me. – Ewart MacLucas
Whether it’s running, swimming, personal training or something else, correct technique and proper training will always give you better results in less time, and that’s where Fitness Mentor can help. Be confident in the knowledge you are doing the right types of exercise at the right time in the right amounts, and with the right diet, to achieve your goals.
